We finally have green everywhere in Boston now! I am just back from NYC with Rusty, where we attended a photo review event, which was amazing! There were so many great opportunities presented to us that our heads nearly exploded. Creative adventures rock! As we Northerners emerge from our winter caves, this lush green growth that just popped serves as a powerful metaphor for cultivating Great Ideas and translating them into some green cash! This month my article is about choosing your best Great Ideas to plant this spring and an invitation to a special live event that ensures that you clarify and actualize the paths to your unique Rich Life of abundance and joy! Come and join the celebration!
Nourish Yourself with the Wisdom of the Iris
Rusty and I finally got to Cape Cod and enjoyed a weekend of chilly, but glorious weather. The landscapes are simply stunning. Every year, Cape Cod casts a spell on me and I fall passionately in love with the beaches, the windy roads, the flowers, and the stillness all over again. Rusty discovered this row of iris's not far from us and he kept going back to photograph them in all kinds of lighting. I finally had to see them myself and took a few close-up photo's on my iPhone to inspire a watercolor painting later. This Poster shot shows Rusty's gift for working a scene until it pops.
July Inspiration and Illuminate Your Life Path Workshop
Rusty and I explored some new back roads on the Lower Cape Cod elbow. We started out looking for the Honeysuckle Trail in the 2014 Guidebook which was supposed to lead to a bird sanctuary on a pond. We found it finally, but it was a poison ivy oasis, and going on prednisone again this year was something we were trying to avoid. A bit bewildered, we explored the whole area to make sure that we had the right trail and we did. We left feeling disappointed and a bit irritated that this highly publicized trail was a bust.
A Time for Anticipation and A Chance to Claim your Life Purpose
I have been a “photographer’s widow” in the past as Rusty has been chasing the Moon all over Greater Boston and west of Boston, capturing some awesome shots. Two of my favorite shots were of the moon clinging to the Boston skyscrapers and then a moon looking like a lit-up church clock in Concord. But, I selected this shot of two women sitting by the Charles River waiting for the moonrise for our poster because it speaks to the power of anticipation-- what we choose to seek out and wait for.
