Creativity is about making new connections and coming up with something unique and useful. It is driven by a passion for answers and a quest for new paradigms. My own creative renaissance unfolded decades ago when I started painting, writing, and studying the lives of creative men and women. I was outraged that there were not positive, viable role models for modern-day, sane, creative women, so I wrote my first book, The 12 Secrets of Highly Creative Women: A Portable Mentor (Conari Press), which sold out its first printing in 8 weeks. Conari Press then published my second book, The Power of Positive Choices: Adding and Subtracting Your Way to a Great Life, which is my own stress mastery formula that gets you to choose one of three options to transform your stressors. I have also published 2 e-books: The Path to Creative Success and Boost Your Creativity, Productivity, and Profits in 21 Steps, plus the Creativity Courage Cards, with my photographer husband, which were featured in Artist Magazine. We also developed a Guide for the Huffington Post GPS for your Soul app. My newest books from Conari/RedwheelWeiser are: The 12 Secrets of Highly Successful Women: A Portable Mentor for Creative Women and The 12 Secrets of Highly Creative Women Journal.
